In a season of springing forward, many individuals struggle to get healthy amounts of sleep. Collin College will host three more free wellness lectures focused on the importance of sleep in March and April.

The next lecture will be held on Thursday, March 20 at 1 p.m. at the Collin Higher Education Center in McKinney.  It will be held in room 114. The address of the center is 3452 Spur 399, across the highway from Medical Center of McKinney.

Attendees will learn applicable tips on getting a good night’s sleep from a Collin College professor and registered polysomnography (sleep) specialist.

In the February 2012 issue of McKinney Magazine, the story "Are You Getting Enough Sleep?" tells you why sleep is important to your health. Click here to read the complete story.

The other two lectures will be held on March 27 and April 17.
