The Knowledge is Power lecture series at Collin College will delve into the devastating effects of chemicals on Wednesday, April 23 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco.

“Toxic History: The Chemistry of Warfare” will be presented by Dr. Dawn Richardson, professor of chemistry and Meredith Martin, professor of history. Dr. Samer Tekarly, professor of chemistry, will also share his experiences with chemical warfare.

The Knowledge is Power lecture series pairs professors from different academic arenas into one discussion about a topic relevant in global current issues. The lecture is free and open to the public.
