The Destination College department will offer a special parent-specific workshop on preparing students for college on Thursday, Jan. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Spring Creek Living Legends Conference Center, located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. in Plano.
This popular workshop will provide parents with the essentials of planning and preparing for students' college experiences. Speakers will address practical parenting concerns, strategies for a successful college admissions process, and financial aid resources and terminology.
Dinner will be provided starting at 6 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Please note that this workshop is for parents only.
