If you are a 2012 high school graduate or a new college freshman, Collin College invites you to revitalize your math skills to better prepare you for next semester. And, you can do so for free -- by applying to the 2012 Math Summer Bridge Program.
The free math refresher course offers you the chance to work with top professors this summer so that you can start the fall semester at the top of your game.
Collin College officials recommend the math program for students who need to get ready for their first college math class or boost their college math placement test scores.
Details are as follows:
Who: All 2012 high school graduates who have completed Algebra II or higher in high school and new college freshmen that have not yet started their college math classes. (Students currently still in high school are not eligible for this program.)
What: The Math Summer Bridge Program will review concepts learned in Algebra II. This three-week, no-cost program provides students with an individualized math curriculum to strengthen skill levels towards the goal of placement into college-level math coursework.
When: June 11-28, 2012
Deadline: Applicants must apply by 5 p.m. June 1.

Sessions cannot be mixed. Space in the program is limited. Participants will be selected through an application process. Taking the free Collin College math assessment at one of our on campus testing centers is a requirement of the application process.
If accepted to the program, textbooks will be provided. Students will need to bring calculators and note taking items.
