A bachelor’s degree creates a wide range of opportunities for graduates, and more than 80 percent of students at Collin College enroll with the goal of transferring to a four-year institution. Considering student objectives, Collin College’s University Partnerships and Destination College Departments will offer a transfer workshop in conjunction with the college’s pre-admission partners on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Living Legends Conference Center at the Spring Creek Campus in Plano, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy.

Representatives from each of Collin College's pre-admission partners, including Austin College, Baylor, Dallas Baptist, SMU, Texas A&M–Commerce, Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, Texas Wesleyan, Texas Tech, Texas Woman's University, University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington and North Texas will provide attendees information about their school, the application process, financial aid, scholarships and best ways to prepare.

Students and parents will also have the opportunity to meet with university partners during individual breakout sessions. Information tables will be available for browsing from 6 p.m. to 6:20 p.m., with welcome remarks and breakout sessions following at 6:30 p.m.
