Moving from high school to college is typically accompanied by both excitement and fear. Supporting smooth transitions, the Destination College Department at Collin College will host its “From High School to College: Your Successful Transition Begins Now” workshop from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at the Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center in Frisco, 9700 Wade Blvd.

Workshop leaders will explain why the key to a successful transition begins in high school, and participants will learn how the college search, selection and application process can help them develop the skills and the confidence to begin college with an effective and appropriate mindset. With the right foundation, students will have the potential for both immediate and long-term college success.
