Collin College will host its Spring Dance Concert “Awake and Ascend” on April 11-12 in the John Anthony Theatre at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
“Awake and Ascend” will feature the college’s resident dance company, Collin Dance Ensemble. Students in this audition-only company include Susanna Austin, Rachelle Chrisostom, Emily DiFranco, Anna Ferreira, Kevin Goyburu, Allison Irby, Nicholas Kao, Kieran King, Shannon Morrow, Shannon Munson, Amanda Nieves, Skye Stovall, Emily Thomas and Natalie Trollinger.
The concert will feature a variety of works choreographed by Collin College faculty. Performances will run as follows:
- Friday, April 11, 8 p.m.
- Saturday, April 12, 2 p.m.
- Saturday, April 12, 8 p.m.
Advanced tickets can be purchased online at collin.edu/dance. General admission costs $10 and $5 for students, senior citizens and college employees.
