The Pride, Collin College’s official association for alumni and friends, is partnering with the Collin Theatre Center to give alumni and supporters a behind-the-scenes look at the theater department’s production of “Les Miserables” on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Spring Creek Campus John Anthony Theatre located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. in Plano.
The pre-show panel will feature a discussion of the musical with Collin College theater director Brad Baker and other faculty experts. Guests will also be invited to tour the stage and stay for the performance at 8 p.m. The event is part of The Pride’s CAFÉ Talks series.
The pre-show panel and tour is free and open to Collin College alumni and the general public. Tickets to the show may be purchased at collintheatrecenter.com. Alumni receive $5 off any ticket type by using the purchase code COLLINALUMNI.
The nonprofit Collin College Foundation raises more than a half million dollars annually to support student scholarships.
