Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy. in Plano
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be comment boards for students to express their opinions on Constitutional issues and a reading of the U. S. Constitution in the Atrium. Spring Creek Campus will also host special Constitution Day speakers in the Living Legends Conference Center at 6 p.m. Indiana University professor Dr. William Bianco will give an address entitled, “Should We Blame the Founding Fathers? The Constitutional Roots of Deadlock in Modern American Politics.” In addition Dr. Anthony Champagne of The University of Texas at Dallas will give an address on "The Constitutional Revolution of 1937.”
Preston Ridge Campus, 9700 Wade Blvd. in Frisco
At 1 p.m., Preston Ridge Campus faculty will present " The Balance of Power: the President and the Congress” at the Preston Ridge Campus Event Center.
Central Park Campus, 2200 W. University Dr. in McKinney
From 1 pm. to 2:30 p.m., there will be a reading of the U.S. Constitution. Professor Will Geisler will give a lecture entitled "Race, Property Rights and the U.S. Constitution" in the Central Park Campus Conference Center.
