As part of the ongoing TxDOT project to widen U.S. 75 from the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) to White Avenue in McKinney, the City and TxDOT have worked together to temporarily reopen the Eldorado Parkway exit ramp from the northbound SRT direct connector to northbound U.S. 75 during the holiday season.

This Eldorado Parkway exit ramp will be open from approximately Friday, November 16th, until approximately Wednesday, January 9th.  After the holidays, it will be closed again for a short time for completion.

"We at the City of McKinney think this will benefit residents and business owners alike during the holidays and are pleased to work with TxDOT to make this happen."

As a reminder, this TxDOT construction project to widen U.S. 75 to four main lanes in each direction and three frontage road lanes in each direction will provide much needed extra capacity to the roadway. The project is anticipated to be complete in 2015.

Please be safe when traveling through the work zone and always observe traffic warning signs. If you have any questions, please contact Danny Still at (972) 547-7631 or dstill@mckinneytexas.org.  Thank you for your cooperation.
