COLLIN COUNTY, TX – It's been a long week when it comes to figuring out the results of the presidential election. As of this writing, it's still up in the air who won. Local results, though still officially 'unofficial' weren't nearly as complicated to figure out.

McKinney residents cast their ballots in a special election to vote for or against two propositions.

Proposition A (passed): Proposition A asked voters if La'Shadion Shemwell should be removed from the office of McKinney City Council Member (District 1) by recall.

Proposition B (failed): Proposition B asked voters if the city is authorized to sell certain park property, being 55.234 acres of land located approximately 0.6 miles east of S.H. 5 on Harry McKillop Boulevard and 0.25 miles south on Couch Drive, in the F. T. Duffau Survey, Abstract No. 287, McKinney, Collin County, Texas.
