Six businesses made presentations to the McKinney Economic Development Corporation board on March 20 to request Emerging Technology funding.

A partial rent subsidy was approved to the following companies:

  • Curious Complex – a vertical media and engagement service. The business provides an effective way to reach niche consumers. It is moving to McKinney but has not yet identified a specific location for its offices.
  • Adventure Pilot – designs and manufactures a GPS device for aviation used by private pilots. The product name is iFly GPS. The business will occupy space in the Cotton Mill.
