The League of Women Voters of Collin County will host public forums in McKinney and Plano for candidates in contested races in the May 6 local elections.

The McKinney forum will be Saturday, April 1, at the McKinney Senior Recreation Center, 1400 S. College St., McKinney, TX 75069, with three sessions as follows:

  • 9:30-10:20 – McKinney Mayor and City Council At Large
  • 10:30-11:20 – McKinney City Council Districts 1 and 3
  • 11:30-12:00 – McKinney ISD Trustees

The Plano forum will be Saturday, April 8, at the Haggard Library, 2501 Coit Rd., Plano, TX 75075, with three sessions as follows:

  • 10:30-11:45 – Plano Mayor and City Council
  • 12:00-1:00 – Plano ISD Trustees
  • 1:10-1:40 – Collin College Trustees

Voters Guides for elections in Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Wylie and Collin College will be available by April 1 at www.VOTE411.org and www.LWVCollin.org.
