Collin County Judge Chris Hill has appointed David Bristol, Nick Ganter, Keresa Richardson, Nathan Sheets, and Michael Wiggins to the Collin County Business & Industry Advisory Council for terms that expire on December 31, 2020. The Business & Industry Advisory Council exists to consult with the county judge and provide feedback on state and local policy issues that impact the business community in Collin County.
David Bristol is the co-founder, President, and CEO of Employee Solutions, LP, one of the largest privately-held staffing firms in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The company employs over 3,000 individuals on a weekly basis and provides more than 100 internal full-time jobs. Employee Solutions was named one of the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing privately held companies in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015; and received the SMU Cox School of Business' Dallas 100 Award in 2012, 2013, and 2014. During his first career in the United States Air Force, Bristol served as an F-111 and F-15E fighter pilot, for which he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Meritorious Service Medal, and numerous Air Medals. He is also a former councilman and Mayor Pro Tem for the Town of Prosper.
Nick Ganter is a Health Systems Executive for AbbVie, a biopharmaceutical company with more than 30,000 worldwide employees; and a former worldwide marketing manager for Abbott Laboratories. Ganter has over 22 years of healthcare industry experience, and is certified by the Harvard Medical School Joslin Diabetes Center. He also serves as the Chairman of the Collin County Healthcare Foundation Advisory Board.
Keresa Richardson is the CEO of Lawton Commercial Services and the President & Owner of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. Richardson was the first ever franchisee-elected president of Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, tasked with building and protecting the brand, while assisting in the profitable growth of individual franchise members. Today, her businesses employ over 200 and serve more than 50,000 customers in the Collin County area.
Nathan Sheets is the founder, CEO, and Chief Steward of Nature Nate’s Honey Company, the #1 branded honey in the U.S., with over 100 employees in Collin County. Sheets is passionate about developing a company that is driven by more than the bottom line — measuring success not just by what we achieve, but also by what we contribute to others. Michael Wiggins is the Senior Vice President of System Clinical Operations for Children's Health, one of the highest-ranked children's hospitals in the United States. Wiggins is responsible for non-nursing clinical operations, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and family support services. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and also serves on the Board of Managers for the Plano Family YMCA.
