The Leadership McKinney Alumni Network, along with sponsor Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU), reached out to the community and corporate partners to help make the Annual “Food For Friends” Oatmeal Drive a success.

Accomplished! They more than doubled their goal and delivered 2,110 pounds of oatmeal to stock the shelves at our Community Food Pantry of McKinney. The group also presented Executive Director Carol Bodwell a check for $800 and RBFCU presented a donation of $1,000 to continue the pantry’s mission.

This year corporate partners were challenged to build an “Oatmeal Tree” during their collection, all for the bragging rights of BEST “tree” and the most oatmeal collected. Congratulations and thanks to Covenant Church! Not only were they voted the BEST “Oatmeal tree” by the LM Alumni committee, but they also surpassed all other participants by collecting 632 pounds of oatmeal!
