McKINNEY (July 1, 2015) — VR Business Brokers of McKinney, a leader in the sale of privately held companies, recently facilitated the sale of Excalibur Signs of Richardson.
Excalibur Signs (excalibur-signs.com), established by Jim Worden in 2004, provides a variety of signs and graphics applications including banners, point of purchase, architectural, vehicle and engraved signs to businesses of all sizes – from small businesses to large national companies.
The business has been purchased by Robert Watson, owner of a Minuteman Press located at 2663 Tarna Dr. in Dallas (mmpdfw.com). Excalibur Signs will now be expanding its product line to include printing products of all types.
“We see a great opportunity to expand Excalibur Signs by offering print services, while at the same time expanding our current Minuteman Press offerings with signs and graphics products,” says new owner Robert Watson.
VR Business Brokers of McKinney handled all aspects of the transaction, from initial business valuation to marketing the opportunity and providing support through the closing process. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The new owner assumed possession of the business on June 12 and is excited to continue the tradition of providing the first class service and products that the business community in the greater DFW area has been receiving from Excalibur Signs over the last decade!
