Volunteers are needed for the Collin County Master Gardeners Show to be held on March 23-24 at Myers Park and Event Center in McKinney.

They need 6-8 volunteers, per shift, to collect the donations or money, stack food, keep the area clean, host the information table and run food items back to Community Lifeline Center, the beneficiary of the event.

Shifts available are:

•  Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

•  Sunday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

You are welcome to work more than one shift, and you get free admission to the show. Scout troops or other groups are also welcome to serve.

Admission to the show is either a donation of two cans of unexpired food or $2 per family to support Community Lifeline Center. This event will be held at Myers Park and Event Center, located at 7117 County Road 166 in McKinney.

To volunteer for the show, contact Sherri Murphy at smurphy@communitylifeline.org or 214-542-0020, ext. 201.

In addition to needing volunteers for the show, CLC can always use help to keep up with the daily needs.
