The Texas Department of Transportation will hold a free three-day workshop Feb. 11-13 on requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) and Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) to work on TxDOT projects.
The workshop is being held by TxDOT’s Office of Civil Rights at the DFW Minority Supplier Development Council, located at 8828 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 550 in Dallas.
Topics of the workshop include:
• Trucking certification
• Bonding
• Payroll reporting
• Upcoming opportunities in construction
All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend this training in order to competitively apply to subcontract construction work for primary contractors on large construction projects that have goals for participation of these qualifying businesses.
