Adventure Kids Playcare Offers Special Day Passes To Help Those Impacted By School Closures

(McKINNEY, TX, March 16, 2020) Adventure Kids Playcare, an hourly drop-in childcare for ages 6 weeks to 12 years old is offering Special Day Passes for a limited time to help parents who have been impacted by the recent school closures and extended Spring breaks.

"We understand that many families are dealing with school closures, extended Spring Breaks and just pure chaos," says Dana Oliver, founder and CEO of Adventure Kids Playcare. "I established Adventure Kids Playcare out of the desire to provide a fun, safe and secure place where children can go while parents do what they have to do (i.e. work, time to themselves, etc.). During a time like this we want to be there for parents and offer our services in the most flexible and convenient way."

For a limited time only, several Adventure Kids Playcare locations across Texas will be offering a special day pass (8am-5pm) for $50 per child. This pass includes lunch and must be purchased and redeemed online between 3.16.20-3.31.20. Reservations are required and it is only valid for children 18 months and older.

"We're hoping that by offering our services at a special rate, we are able to help more families during this confusing and overwhelming time," said Oliver.

As a licensed childcare center, Adventure Kids Playcare is required to maintain health and safety standards for the children in their care and their staff on an on-going basis. This includes washing hands throughout the day, sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces/equipment/toys, and keeping staff and children who are ill out of the center.

Due to the coronavirus, Adventure Kids Playcare is increasing the frequency of hand washing and sanitizing throughout the day. Just like most, they are closely monitoring the situation by following updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which offers up-to-date information for the public and also specialized information for early childhood and K-12 schools. As well as following local and state health agencies during this time. They are also modifiying their hours of operations and have implemented door-side drop-off and pick-up, along with termperature checks at the door.
