Through the generations, Raytheon has developed solutions for some of the most challenging requirements by tapping into a spirit of perpetual innovation and dedication to core values and customer success, according to a company press release.
"It is truly amazing to think about how far Raytheon has come since our early days, with our rich heritage of 90 years of inventions and breakthroughs to support customers around the world," William H. Swanson, Raytheon Chairman and CEO, said in a press release. "While our world has changed a lot since 1922, what remains steadfast is Raytheon's consistent focus on excellence in technology and innovation, and our ability to solve our customers' hardest problems."
Raytheon is headquartered in Waltham, Mass. Its McKinney campus is located on University Drive.
In McKinney, Raytheon is a longtime supporter of the McKinney ISD's science, technology, engineering and math education programs -- and recently donated $10,000 to the district’s LASER (Leadership and Science Ensure Results) program.
The money from Raytheon will fund the implementation of LASER in all McKinney ISD sixth-grade science classes during the 2012-13 school year. For more information, go here.
