Celebrating an Open House & Ribbon Cutting
Yesterday Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center welcomed the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, as well as staff, physicians, nurses, and members of the community to their new facility for their official ribbon cutting and open house.
Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center opened its doors in November 2017 with the mission to elevate the standard of healthcare for McKinney and the surrounding communities.
“I had a dream of a place where we could have the best healthcare in the community at a lower cost,” said Joe Minissale, president of Methodist McKinney Hospital. “I had a dream where we could work for a company that wasn’t worried about what the stock price was going to be this quarter, or whether we had to reduce staff to make budget.”
Minissale, along with the support of his team and members of the community, was able to make this dream a reality with the opening of Methodist McKinney Hospital, Methodist Allen Surgery Center and now Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center. The culture and staff found beyond the doors of these facilities is what sets them apart from all the rest.
“If we can recruit and retain the best employees then only the best doctors will want to work here and then patients who want the best care want to come here—it’s that simple,” said Minissale. “The great doctors follow the best employees and the patients ultimately win.”
Methodist Craig Ranch offers a full spectrum of specialties to its patients including, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic and cosmetic surgery, and urology.
The facility features ten private pre-operative and recovery rooms as well as an Observation Unit that will allow patients to stay overnight after more complex procedures such as hip, knee, and shoulder joint replacements.
