Joyce Carver joins executive team
Medical City McKinney has named Joyce Carver as vice president of quality. Carver, who has been a part of HCA Healthcare since 2000, has held several leadership roles including vice president for patient safety, quality, and risk for Medical City Healthcare, and most recently as a consulting vice president for patient safety and quality for HCA Healthcare.
During her tenure with Medical City Healthcare, Carver managed quality, patient safety and clinical risk for 14 hospitals and was responsible for the public reporting of quality data, infection prevention, regulatory preparation and compliance, and medical staff credentialing.
Carver holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Palm Beach Atlantic College in West Palm Beach and a master’s degree in nursing finance from Florida Atlantic College in Boca Raton, Florida. She volunteers as an appointed guardian for Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and the Dallas Shared Ministries healthcare clinic.
