Pledges to hire 500 Disabled Veterans and to raise funds for Vet projects

Texas Loves Vets, launches pilot in McKinney, an advertising campaign helping businesses promote discounts to Veterans, Active Duty, Disabled and Military Dependents with partial proceeds benefiting Veteran outreach efforts.

Company Owner, Paul Chabot, an Iraq War Veteran stated, “Texas Loves Vets exists to help local businesses promote discounts to Vets. Our goal is to hire over 500 Disabled Veterans to serve as Sales Agents signing up businesses in their local communities while at the same time, helping these Disabled Veterans learn important job skills and use their position with us as a stepping stone. Partial proceeds support local Veteran outreach efforts and we are excited to have signed up 10-businesses in our McKinney pilot project. There is a huge market in Texas with over 1.5 million Veterans, 165,000 Active Duty Service Members, and an estimated 500,000 Military Dependents.”

How it works: Texas Loves Vets owns and manages the website,, identifying businesses providing discounts to Veterans. The business must agree to provide a discount or service to those presenting a proper form of military/veteran identification. For the nominal annual fee of $95, the business is listed on site, receives a 7-inch round store-window decal and cash-register decals, plus unlimited use of the digital decal for print/web ads. A portion of the annual fee supports Veteran outreach programs.

Storefront and service-based companies that have signed up include T-Mobile, The Pantry Restaurant, McKinney Coffee Company, EJ Willis Gastropub, DVB Realty Group, Falgout CPA, Maid in Texas, Executive Home Services, Loan Star Elite Home Inspections.
