The Preston Trail chapter of TSPE announced at its annual Engineer's Week banquet on Feb. 21 that Bill Campbell, PE, was its Engineer of the Year.

With over 600 attendees, 13 deserving individuals were honored by partner societies such as AIChE (chemical), ASCE (civil), ASME (mechanical), SAME (military) and SPE (petroleum) as well as the TSPE Preston Trail and Dallas chapters at the Plano Centre.

Following the awards presentation, there was an inspiring speech by keynote speaker, Charla Stine of IBM. With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), Charla has led the IBM Engineer's Week campaign in the Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) area for the past 12 years.
