The McKinney Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspect from a Sept. 4 armed robbery.

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, McKinney Police responded to 1321 N. Tennessee Street at the Cash Now store in reference to an aggravated robbery.

Cash Now employees reported that around 3 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male had entered the store wearing a lime green shirt, khaki pants, a dark-colored cap with the Notre Dame Logo, and mirrored lens sunglasses, according to a news release. The man was described as being 5’8” to 6 feet tall, with a stocky build.

The subject asked about a loan and then produced a black automatic pistol and demanded money.

The suspect stole an undetermined amount of cash, and he fled the store on foot. No employees were injured during the commission of this robbery, the news release said.

McKinney Police, with the assistance of the Cash Now employees, have obtained a forensic drawing of the suspect.
