McKINNEY – The TCCE awards honor chamber organizations throughout Texas for exceptional efforts in various communications and outreach campaigns. Awards were judged in seven separate categories: Outstanding Chamber Map, Outstanding Brochure, Outstanding Magazine or Directory, Excellence in Print or Electronic Newsletter, Outstanding Chamber Website, Excellence in Social Media Marketing and Communications, and Outstanding Marketing Campaign.

ACCE received 142 entries in the annual Awards for Communication Excellence competition. A three-judge panel of chamber professionals evaluated the entries submitted under each of the four subject categories: advertising, campaigns, electronic and publications.
The McKinney Chamber was the recipient of the 2013 Award of Excellence for McKinneyOnline.com (electronic category) and the Buy Local- McKinney First! marketing campaign (campaign category).
McKinney Chamber President Jodi Ann LaFreniere Ray acknowledges that chambers are trusted sources of information in each community and appreciates the recognition by both the TCCE and ACCE.
