McKINNEY (May 9, 2014) — The McKinney Chamber of Commerce will host its 17th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 2 at the Stonebridge Ranch Country Club Dye Course. This is the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year hosting an average of 200 golfers and over 300 attendees.

There will be two shotgun times for golfers to choose from. The first scramble begins at 8 a.m. and the second at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will start as the first round of golfers roll in. There will be grilling on the back patio of the clubhouse. Golfers will have the chance to mix and mingle after a hard day on the course at the evening awards ceremony and dinner. Of course, dinner would not be complete without the yearly live auction and silent auction.

The 17th Annual McKinney Chamber Golf Classic sure to be a good time! There will be many games, contests and great prizes thanks to Encore Wire Corporation. Sponsorships are still available.

“Every member has an extra salesperson on their staff working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week the McKinney Chamber of Commerce – they never rest. The golf tournament is a fun way to provide some much needed funding for the Chamber, the opportunity to develop some old and new relationships, and finally gives us a way to demonstrate our corporate citizenship by being sponsors,” said Russell Grimes of Grimes Development and Construction.

The Chamber invites businesses looking to extend their marketing reach to contact us about sponsorship opportunities.
