Manner Plastics is pleased to announce its latest expansion: The company will add 3,500 square feet of offices, 32,500 square feet of warehouse space, one new production line and the associated infrastructure to support the new line.

“Our revenues have grown by 60 percent over the past four years. Just as importantly, we have doubled the number of customers we serve,” company President Raj Bhargava said in a press release issued Wednesday.

One of the growth factors cited by Bhargava was the acquisition of the intangible assets of PVC Compounders, LLC.

“The assets we acquired in 2009 provided a platform to diversify our markets and expand our customer base. However, it is the effort of our employees to create value for our existing and new customers that has made the difference,” he said.

The McKinney Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the City of McKinney are providing incentives for this expansion.

McKinney Mayor Brian Loughmiller commented, “Manner Plastics has been an outstanding corporate citizen since coming to McKinney in 2000. They have not only contributed financially to the community but also through their service efforts. We are pleased to support their continued growth.”

Since locating in McKinney, this is the third expansion of Manner Plastics, which is a privately held manufacturer of plastic compounds.

The company serves customers in the United States, Mexico, Canada and a number of Asian countries. Markets served include automotive, building products, industrial, electrical, telecommunications, consumer goods, appliance and agriculture. Applications served include wire and cable, tubing and hose, extruded profiles and injection molded products.
