McKINNEY — Due to changes in Texas Franchise Law, the partners of Manner Plastics LP have decided to convert the organization to a corporation.

At the time of conversion, the company will be renamed Manner Polymers. According to company president Raj Bhargava, “The term “polymers” better reflects our place in the value chain as a compounder of plastic resins.” The change went into effect on Jan. 1, 2014.

There is no change in ownership or management.

Bhargava stated, “We are also pleased to announce our latest expansion. In the first quarter of 2014 we will install our 7th compounding line. This is our second expansion in the past twelve months. Earlier this year we installed our 6th production line and added 30,000 square feet of warehouse space as well as 3500 square feet of office space. Over the past two years our sales have grown by over 50%. This could not have happened without the support of our customers, suppliers and employees.”

Manner is a privately held manufacturer of plastic compounds. The company was founded in 2000. The headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in McKinney. The company’s materials are used in automotive, construction, electrical, industrial, telecommunications, agriculture and consumer goods markets.
