LINKS, the McKinney Chamber of Commerce’s weekly networking meeting, is moving downtown!

Beginning Wednesday, March 2, Gather In Downtown McKinney will be the new home for LINKS. They are located at 207 E. Virginia St.

LINKS (Learn Inform Network Know Share) has met at Saltgrass Steak House since 2001. Every Wednesday morning, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., members and guests meet for a light breakfast and heavy networking. With up to 100 businesses represented each week, LINKS is one of the best networking opportunities available.

Gather in Downtown McKinney was started in November 2011 by Crystal Jansa, Jennifer and Kyle Klassen and Paige Parrish. First a lunch venue with private events at night, it did not take long to make the decision to focus on events only.

“We pride ourselves on offering romantic weddings in McKinney’s No. 1 venue located on the historic square in downtown,” said Jansa. “In addition to weddings, our venue is the perfect place to host celebrations of all kinds. From birthday parties and showers to your company’s next great event.”

A city parking lot (free) is located at the corner of Hunt and Tennessee streets. Street parking along side streets and around the McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC) is also available.

Gather is a family owned business that continues a tradition of providing heartwarming, delicious food in a stunning, historic atmosphere.

“We are looking forward to being the HOST sponsor for the LINKS group in 2016,” said Jansa, “and we can’t wait to get started on March 2!”

The LINKS program is presented by sponsor Collin County Bookkeeping. Breakfast is sponsored by a Chamber member each week.  If you are interested in becoming a weekly breakfast sponsor at LINKS, call Mary Mac Brock at 972-542-0163 or via email to
