Register today to join the Leadership McKinney Class of 2016 as they graduate, acknowledging their accomplishment of completing the Chamber’s nationally recognized leadership development program. The event will take place on Thursday, May 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Piazza On The Green. It is sponsored by Encore Wire Corporation, and the keynote speaker will be Dr. Thomas O. Brumett, Senior Pastor at First United Methodist Church of McKinney.
Class members immersed themselves in McKinney as they have never done before, including an overnight retreat, monthly class sessions, a trip to the State Capital and Regional Day with six other area leadership programs. The Class of 2016 is also the first class to lead the new Legacy Class Project – the 9/11 Day of Remembrance. Through their total commitment to the program over the past 10 months, the graduates have gained knowledge, professional networks, inspiration and lasting friendships.
So register today! Share in this evening of celebration as these 25 thoughtful, committed citizens move from class members to alumni, joining the other 536 graduates to continue to leading, inspiring and motivating change for our community.
