JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) celebrated inaugural service to DFW International Airport on Tuesday. DFW Airport is JetBlue's 71st overall destination and the third destination that the airlines serves in the Lone Star State.

JetBlue is now offer three daily flights from Boston to Dallas/Fort Worth. To celebrate the new service, flights are on sale through May 3 at www.jetblue.com/new for as low as $119 for travel May 8 through June 5.

The airline's service between Boston and Dallas/Fort Worth offers optimal schedules for business and leisure travel, officials say. Customers flying into Boston can also connect easily to points across JetBlue's network in the Northeast including Buffalo, NY, New York City (JFK and Newark), Washington D.C. (Reagan National and Dulles), as well as connections to partners, including Cape Cod and the islands via Cape Air and Aer Lingus to Dublin.

JetBlue's flights from Boston to Dallas/Fort Worth will be operated with the airline's comfortable Embraer E190 fleet with its award-winning service featuring convenient, assigned two-by-two seating (every seat is a window or aisle); a first-checked bag free; complimentary and unlimited name-brand snacks and drinks; comfy leather seats; and first-run movies.

The airline has plans to introduce mixed service with its Airbus A320 fleet as it moves into summer, offering the most legroom in coach of any domestic carrier based on average seat pitch.
