The McKinney Chamber is pleased to announce some exciting news about our staffing to better serve our members as our organization experiences tremendous growth and success as a 5 Star Accredited Chamber. The membership of the Chamber is soon to hit 1300 members with many new companies launching their business, opening new locations or expanding their operations in the McKinney community.

Kathy Blank was our Director of Membership and she has been promoted to Vice President of the Chamber. While she will continue to oversee the membership team, her duties will include projects and events to improve and enhance our efforts to Deliver Value to our Mem bers as detailed in our 2016-2018 Strategic Plan. Among these initiatives will be our Get Plugged in Series, focusing on the exciting developments in the area of business expansion for McKinney and North Texas. In addition, Kathy will be instrumental in expanding our Major Investor Program, energizing our membership onboarding and engagement efforts and expanding the ways we support the marketing efforts on behalf of our members.

The Chamber is also extremely excited to welcome our newest addition to our team, D’Andre Allegra, Membership Development Manager. D’Andre serves on the membership team and will focus her efforts on new membership recruitment and engagement as well as supporting our ribbon cuttings and new member orientation/onboarding. D’Andre brings a wide range of expertise in association management, serving as the director of business associations in Dubai, UAE for the Canadian Business Council as well as a Korean Business Association in Seoul, South Korea. While her experience is international, she and her family now call McKinney home and have enjoyed raising their family of 5 here over the past two years.

“The McKinney Chamber is in the epicenter of McKinney’s incredible growth in terms of population as well as business growth and expansion,” said Lisa Hermes, President of the McKinney Chamber. “In order to continue to meet the needs of our members, it is essential we build our staff so the Chamber will have the resources necessary to support our members and our community as a whole.”
