SHERMAN (March 9, 2016) — Gail Utter, Managing Director – Investments, Financial Advisor of the Sherman branch of Wells Fargo Advisors was ranked among Barron’s Top Financial Advisors for 2016, as announced in the weekly magazine’s March 7 issue.
Utter ranked 77th in the state of Texas.
“I’m incredibly honored to be recognized alongside the industry’s leading advisors,” said Utter. “I look forward to helping my clients succeed financially by building even stronger client relationships in the year ahead.”
Winner's Circle, a Barron’s research organization, produced the rankings based on data provided by over 4,000 of the nation’s most productive advisors. Among the factors considered for the rankings are assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice, and philanthropic work. Institutional assets are given less weight in the scoring. Investment performance is not an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures often are influenced more by clients’ risk tolerance than by an advisor’s investment – picking abilities.
Utter has over 20 years experience in the brokerage industry. She is a member of United Way, American Lung Association, March of Dimes and is the Grand Central Station Dining Car/Soup Kitchen, Co-Founder and Board Member. She earned her BBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and her MBA from the University of North Texas. Utter lives in Sherman with her four children.
