The Governor’s Small Business Forum on Sept. 28 at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas-Allen will include a banking panel comprised of CEOs from American National Bank, ViewPoint Bank and Independent Bank.

These organizations are local Texas community banks that are dedicated to delivering unparalleled service to the small businesses of Collin County. The CEOs will explain the process of small business loans and services that are available to help your organization grow.

Robert Husley, President and CEO of American National Bank of Texas, one of the oldest independently owned banks in Texas, founded in 1875 in Terrell, Texas, will be one of the panelists. Striving to build enduring connections with customers, the bank has grown to include more than 30 locations across North Texas. An active participant in every community the bank serves, American National Bank of Texas empowers customers with the right solutions.

Kevin Hanigan has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of ViewPoint Financial Group, Inc. and its subsidiary ViewPoint Bank since April 2, 2012. ViewPoint Bank is a community bank that has been serving consumers and businesses in North Texas since 1952. Based in Plano, ViewPoint Bank is one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Collin County, with $3.2 billion in assets.

David Brooks, Chairman of the Board for Independent Bank Group since 1994, is the third panelist. Independent Bank was founded in 1913 by a group of prominent businessmen who wanted to form a local bank that would serve the needs of the community. On a go-forward basis, Independent Bank is committed to remaining independent, believing that independence brings freedom from bureaucratic red tape and enables their team of dedicated bankers to respond to customers in an expedient and personable manner.
