Yarber is one of twenty women in the U.S. who was a finalist in this competition for women entrepreneurs where she is competing for a $5,000 grant for her business.

“I am really passionate about seeing other women entrepreneurs succeed. I am a woman and a minority and I know how difficult it can be to position yourself in the right spaces to grow your brand," Yarber said. "I was blessed with workspace and a chance at a grant to grow my business so I felt it was necessary for me to help another lady in her entrepreneurial journey.”

Dominique Broadway and Sherrell Martin of Empower 2 Thrive are also finalists.

Yarber frequently shares her passion for media and communications to help other entrepreneurs succeed.

To enter the contest, women can visit and click on the contest tab. A winner will be determined and notified in January.
