McKINNEY — On Friday, April 15, McKinney Mayor Brian Loughmiller issued a proclamation designating April 11-15, 2016 as Innovate McKinney Week and urged all citizens to support new and innovative businesses in McKinney.
The McKinney Chamber of Commerce and The WERX Foundation, Inc. have partnered to bring the Innovate McKinney Local Startup Competition to McKinney. The competition seeks to link McKinney small businesses with resources available in the community to support them. A grand prize of $3,500 will be awarded to the winner who will be selected by a panel of judges. Judges will be looking for new products and service ideas that will become the businesses of the future in our community.
