The City of McKinney Storm Water Management Program (SWMP), in coordination with the Environmental Education office, is hosting the annual Trinity Trash Bash cleanup on Saturday, Oct 20.

The event benefits McKinney because it:

  • Reduces the pollutant load, specifically litter, into McKinney’s lakes and streams;
  • Meets a requirement of McKinney’s SWMP which is mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ); and
  • Provides residents an opportunity to have a positive impact on McKinney’s lakes and streams through a community effort.

Bonus: Every registered participant will receive a T-shirt and lunch! More detailed information may be found at the City's website, www.mckinneytexas.org or by clicking here.

Please contact Annita McCormick (972-547-7579) or Martha Cavazos-Fipps (972-547-7335 or mcavazos@mckinneytexas.org) if you have any questions or need additional information.
