McKINNEY (Oct. 24, 2016) – The 2016 State of the City, scheduled for next Thursday, Nov. 3, will offer local residents and business people an overview of recent accomplishments and a glimpse at plans for the future. Community leaders are likely to offer examples of how McKinney is growing and the improvements being made to our community.
You can register to attend the event, which begins at 11 a.m. at Christ Fellowship Church, 2801 Orchid Drive in McKinney. The public is encouraged to attend. Presenting sponsors for State of the City are Methodist McKinney Hospital and the City of McKinney.
Leaders from several key local organizations – McKinney Independent School District (MISD), the City of McKinney and Collin College – will focus on current and future projects, discussing important programs and presenting a vision for the future of McKinney. Also, this year the new City Manager, Paul Grimes, will be joining Mayor Loughmiller as one of the speakers for the City.
