McKINNEY (Oct. 21, 2014) – The McKinney Chamber of Commerce invites residents and businesses to the 2014 State of the City scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6. Community leaders will provide an overview of recent accomplishments and a glimpse at plans for the future. Guests will enjoy lunch and celebrate the hard work and successes that ranked McKinney #1 on Money Magazine's Best Places to Live in America list.
You can register to attend the event, which begins at 11 a.m. at Christ Fellowship Church, 2801 Orchid Dr. in McKinney. The public is encouraged to attend. Presenting sponsors for State of the City are Methodist McKinney Hospital and the City of McKinney.
Leaders from several key local organizations – McKinney Independent School District (MISD), the City of McKinney and Collin College – will focus on current and future projects, discussing important programs and presenting a vision for the future of McKinney.
