Step back in time on Saturday, Feb. 28 as we explore the elegance of yesterday's
fashions and the impact of history on today’s looks. Revel in the opulence of the Grand Ballroom of the historic Grand Hotel, and enjoy a delectable lunch, served by Rick’s Chophouse.

Yesterday and Today Fashion Show and Tea Luncheon

Fashions from the Chestnut Square historic clothing collection will be on display. Volunteers will model clothing from each decade from 1850-1930, as well as this spring’s latest looks from downtown merchants Swanky Boutique, Mr. & Mrs. Jones Boutique, and children’s fashions from Gigglebrush.

Our costumers will share the history of the vintage fashions along with their contributions to today’s trends. From boots to bonnets, bustles and bavolets, learn their purpose and the role they play today. And what’s a historic fashion show without the inclusion of hoops, gaiters, chemisettes and puffons?

Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under. Always a popular event, the fashion show has sold out in the past, so don’t waste another minute to get your tickets. This is a definite “must do” with your daughter, mother or girlfriends. Proceeds from the event benefit Chestnut Square Historic Village. Get your tickets today at chesnutsquare.org.
