Tucker Hill, a new home community in McKinney, is sponsoring its Second Annual "Patriotic Porch" decorating contest and this year, the public is invited to help select the first- and second-place winners.
Online voting started Friday, June 21, via the Tucker Hill website – tuckerhilltx.com – and will continue through Tuesday, July 2. CLICK HERE to go directly to the voting page. A page has been set up that features photos of all the homes who have decorated for the contest. Site visitors are encouraged to browse through the photos and then vote for their favorite by completing a quick two-question survey. Or better yet, voters are encouraged to drive through Tucker Hill and see the homes in person. “Photos can't capture all details and angles, as many of these homes have decorated much more than can be seen in just one shot,” said Vicki Northcutt, the community’s marketing manager. She also encourages voters to check back frequently through July 2, as more homes are sure to be added.
Everyone who votes and provides their e-mail address will be entered to win a $50 gift card to Market Street – a little something to help with their own Fourth of July celebration! Drawing will be held on July 2.
Tucker Hill is a 300-acre traditional neighborhood development with a focus on architecture, horticulture and a “front porch” lifestyle. Amenities currently include a resort-style pool, playgrounds, nature trail, and community garden, with future plans for a resident’s club and quaint village marketplace. Located just north of Hwy. 380 between Ridge and Custer Roads, the community features two model homes open 7 days a week.
