Tucker Hill, a traditional neighborhood development located just north of Hwy 380 in McKinney, will hold their fourth porch decorating contest of the year during December.

Previous decorating contests were held for July 4th, Autumn Décor and Halloween.

The community's developer, Southern Land Company, will judge the contest and award prizes of $100 for first place and $50 for second.

“From what we saw from the July 4th, Autumn Décor and Halloween contests, we anticipate that more than 75% of our residents will decorate their porches and home exteriors for the holidays,” Jamie Spence, resident activity coordinator, said in an official release.

In addition, one of Tucker Hill's residents, the Moore family, will have their home featured in McKinney's 39th Annual "Holiday Tour of Homes." That event will be held Dec. 1-2 and will benefit Chestnut Square Historic Village.
