McKinney Community Concerts (MCCA) opens its 43rd season on Friday, September 16, with a stellar line-up of professional shows, featuring everything from a big band for a new generation, high energy country with a Cajun twist, classical jazz piano trio, glorious vocals, and more!   The 800-plus members, who enjoy good music and love seeing it right here in McKinney, will again drive right over to Christ Fellowship, 2801 Orchid Drive in McKinney, for a night to remember.

One long-time member, Pete Maurer, raved after one of last season’s concerts, “McKinney Community Concerts is the best entertainment value in the State of Texas.”  Many members agree with Mr. and Mrs. Maurer.  Some loyal members have renewed annually for decades.

All seven shows are on Fridays this year, from September to March, included in one low annual membership fee of only $95/adult and $35/student (K -12), and dues have not been raised for the last dozen years or so, making first-class live shows affordable and accessible right here for McKinney and numerous surrounding communities.  Such professional music shows are normally seen in entertainment meccas like Las Vegas, Nashville, Branson and Broadway, providing memorable concerts without having to travel away from North Texas.  Ample parking is free in a flat, lighted parking lot.

McKinney Community Concerts is a non-profit association supported by membership dues as well as tax-deductible sponsorships from local businesses and arts lovers known as “Friends of McKinney Concerts” who are listed and thanked in all season programs.  Call now for more information at 214-548-4384 or visit their website at

As a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, the concert association has grown its membership to near capacity numbers at a valued venue like Christ Fellowship which boasts a Bose sound system, comfortable seating, and a friendly coffee bar called Nations.  You can even take your latté into the show with you, making it a fun “date night” for folks of all ages.

With the magic of live music entertainment, McKinney Community Concerts validates again that McKinney is "unique by nature.”
