McKinney Repertory Theatre Presents "A Christmas Carol"

Bring your entire family to enjoy MRT's production of Dickens' timeless story. This adaptation of the enduring classic places special emphasis on the ghostly apparitions in the spirit of Dickens' original text, and is full of Victorian song accompanied by music on the vintage theatre pipe organ. Youth Ballet of Texas' Krakatuk: A Nutcracker Prequel

This ballet prequel by Youth Ballet of Texas begins on Christmas Eve with a bedtime story patiently told by Old Drosselmeier to his goddaughter, Marie. The story includes an evil mouse queen, a king, queen, princess, sausages, nursemaids, cats, a very hard nut to crack and a boy who is able to crack it. A must see for the holiday season. Pam Tillis: An Acoustic Trio Christmas

Celebrate the holidays with country music star Pam Tillis in an intimate acoustic performance filled with songs of the season. A Grammy and CMA award-winning recording artist, Pam Tillis has been a formidable force in country music since her first single hit the charts in 1990. She has 14 Top Five hits, including six No. 1 singles, and has sold more than six million records.
An accomplished songwriter, Tillis' compositions have been recorded by artists as varied as Chaka Khan, Martina McBride, Highway 101, Juice Newton and Conway Twitty. She was one of the first women in Nashville to produce her own album and was awarded the coveted Female Vocalist of the Year by the CMA in 1994. The daughter of country music singer Mel Tillis, she made her Grand Ole Opry debut at an early age and was inducted as a member in 2000. She was the first female country entertainer to appear on Broadway.
