Creating In Cahoots has partnered with Franconia Brewing Company, Tupps Brewery, Nine Band Brewery, the Community Food Pantry of McKinney and local artists to bring McKinney an amazing North Texas Beer Week event on November 12th. All involved are excited to create a very unique evening that ultimately will help raise funds and needed supplies for the Community Food Pantry of McKinney.

B.A.T.C.H. (Beer, Art, Trek, Chill, Happy) is a 5 hour journey around McKinney’s local breweries, including a beer-themed art gallery. Starting at 5pm at Creating In Cahoots with beer-themed art and Nine Band beer, attendees will have direct connection with the artists who created the art hung up for the gallery. At 6pm we will load a bus to trek to Franconia Brewing Company to enjoy their brews and a live art exhibit. After time and beers at Franconia, we will reload the bus to head to Tupps Brewery for BBQ and more beers. After enough revelry for all, we’ll reload the bus to head back to CIC by 10pm.

The Community Food Pantry of McKinney expressed that a large need for them during this time of year is powdered milk. CIC will be collecting powdered milk as an entry donation to the beer-themed art gallery. This will help us collect more powdered milk for the Food Pantry.

All artists involved with the gallery have also offered to donate 20% of their sales to the Community Food Pantry of McKinney. If you can not make the event, CIC will be a drop-off location for the entirety of November. Please bring your powdered milk and food items anytime between M-F, 9-3.

We hope you’ll join us on November 12th for B.A.T.C.H. We look forward to having a great time, enjoying amazing local craft beer, perusing beer-themed art while collecting food items and funds for the Community Food Pantry.
