McKINNEY (Sept. 26, 2013) – The McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC) brings stand-up acts to downtown McKinney during the Comedy at the Courthouse series every Wednesday in October from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Located inside MPAC in Noble Hall on the first floor, the comedy happy hour event is just $5 and features entertainment from three comedians. A cash bar and snacks will be available.
“We received a lot of positive feedback from guests who attended the last Comedy at the Courthouse Series in the spring. The event is a low-cost way to relax midway through the week, and it’s another great opportunity to showcase the wonderful Historic Courthouse. Many who come for the comedy spend the evening downtown,” said Ty Lake, MPAC and Main Street Director.
The shows are for audiences 18 years and older. For additional details, visit mckinneyperformingartscenter.org or call 972-547-2650.
