Orisons Fine Art and Framing is pleased to feature painters of the Texas scene, Pete Quaid "Collin County Creek" and Susan Edison "Dallied Up," beginning Saturday, June 8, during McKinney's Second Saturday event. The exhibition will run for three weeks through Saturday, June 29.

When Quaid talks about his Texas roots, he likes to point to his painting of a West Texas canyon and say, "I learned to talk not far from there. I grew to love the rugged brokenness of West Texas. It has its own beauty." Quaid will be demonstrating at the gallery during the reception, and talking about his Texas heritage portrayed in his landscape and still life paintings.

Susan Edison "Dallied Up" will be on display at Orisons Fine Art and Framing.

After years of experience as an illustrator, Edison is pursuing her passion for horses, cowgirls, and nature in the Southwest. Edison thinks of her paintings as drawings with color, exploring new dimensions in the relationship between ground and figure. Edison will be creating a new piece during the reception.

Join us for a very special evening on June 8 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., serving wine, beverages and Nothing Bundt Cakes, at Orisons Fine Art and Framing, located on 110 E. Louisiana St. in McKinney.
