Great big stuff is happening in MRT’s production of the Broadway hit musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Music & Lyrics written by David Yazbek; book by Jeffrey Lane. At a glamorous casino in the French Riviera, a scandalous con man, Lawrence (Patrick Vincent), is working a crowd of wealthy women. But his schemes get complicated when he meets Freddy (Andrew Toomey), a young swindler who wants to take over his territory.  The rivals strike up an all or nothing bet to see who can scam beautiful Christine Colgate (Roxi Taylor) out of her fortune.

Director Marilyn Latham and Musical Director/Choreographer Kathy French have assembled an incredibly talented cast to perform this suave, mischievous, and hysterical comedy.  Dale Gutt portrays Inspector Andre Thibault alongside Emily Hornsby as Muriel Eubanks.  Leslie Stone Pineda gives us some southern humor with her character Jolene Oakes. Rebekah Ussery, Taylor Curley, Susan O’Brien, Sara Johnson, Jessie Johnson, Dennis Messer, Lydia Stufflebean, Brandon Carnes, Jackie Martinez, Sara Tamimi, Asa Fris, and Alyse Hurd make up the ensemble.

The producer is MRT veteran, Lindsey Humphreys, Doug Latham is Assistant Director and Sound Designer, and Jenna Lee is Stage Manager. Other crew members are: Julie McCalpin (Costume Design and Seamstress), Sierra Garcia and Roxi Taylor (Hair/Makeup Design), Lisa Dorman (Lighting Design), Christopher Tully (Lightboard Operator), Chad Carter (Stage Crew), Jennifer Lee (Photographer), and Dave Tenney (Scenic Designer and Master Carpenter.)
